Yesterday evening my phone started to blow up. Yep, Prince Daniel was at the hospital telling the media that Crown Princess Victoria had given birth, and mother and son were fine.
Today, a Council of State was held (as is custom for when there is a royal birth. Who knew?).
This is where the King of Sweden announced his first grandson’s name (Oscar Carl Olof), who will be known as Oscar.
You know what else the little tyke gets for being born of royal blood? He gets assigned the Duchy of Skåne. How cool is that? Too bad I can’t’ understand the Swedish spoken in Skåne.
