Yes, Swedes celebrate Mother’s Day (which you might find surprising, not all countries do). However Mother’s Day in Sweden is always on the last Sunday in May. One could argue they are waiting a bit for better weather, or just trying to give it some space from Easter.

Spring Flowers

Mother’s Day is celebrated the same way in Sweden as in other countries. You do something nice for your mother. It could be taking her to dinner, buying her flowers, or breakfast in bed. All mother’s appreciate Mother’s Day. So bring a little bit of Sweden into your home, and celebrate Mother’s Day twice!
