It is July and cloudberry season. So we went cloud berry hunting on our motorcycles!

Luckily, it was a pretty nice day. It looks like it was going to rain, but it didn’t and luckily it was windy enough to blow away all the pesty mosquitoes that you find up here in Northern Sweden.

We were North of Skellefteå for our little field trip – and experienced some fun off road riding in order to get to the cloudberry patch.

Cloudberries found!
This is a nice one

This time we were just scouting. The cloudberries we found were almost ready. I tasted one
Yes she ate it
(it was yummy and cloudberry like), but the rest still needed three to four days. There were also some fun dusty seed things around the area.
Hilary found a dustwiper or something

In a few days we will go back to the patch (we marked it on our handy dandy GPS) to pick cloudberries and later make some jam!
