Today I left Sweden for another month to go help out my brother in New York. I love my brother and will have a blast in New York, but I’m bummed that I’m leaving Sweden so soon! It feels like I just got back, and now I’m leaving again!
I’m going to miss the fika, but I won’t miss the godis (at least my diet won’t). And of course I will miss my Swede (well, maybe not that much, he will be quitting snus and is NOT fun to be around!), my friends, and the little things.
But Sweden will still be there when I get back, and now I will see if I come across the spirit of Sverige in New York State.
