Barely into winter and all I can think about is going to the beach.
An acquaintance of mine suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and informed me that a special sun lamp is not necessary to treat SAD, but rather, that any lamp can be used to catch some rays with during the darker parts of the winter.
Perhaps this bout of stormy weather, which lends itself to a desire to want to isolate and seclude, is indicative of my intolerance to lack of sunlight. I want nothing more than to go lay out in the sun, blinding all passers-by with the chalk-white hue of my flesh.
SUCH useful information! We now only have about 3-4 hours of daylight here. Sun set at 1:30pm today! Glad to know I’m not only wasting energy having all the lights in the house on 🙂
