Lagom: The Swedish Art of Balanced Life Book Giveaway

Do you know the power of lagom? Lagom, the special Swedish phrase that means “not too much, not too little, just right”.

Lagom is a huge part of the Swedish culture. You will get the sense of it when you visit because everything is there is just, well, lagom! There is no reason we can’t achieve it ourselves, for those of us who don’t live in Sweden.

The book “Lagom: The Swedish Art of Balanced Life“, which comes out in Europe this weekend (but not until October in the US), is exactly what you need to experience lagom in your life.

The author being Swedish herself, and now living outside of Sweden, has experienced both the lagom culture and cultures that may need a bit more of lagom in them.

The book starts with describing what lagom exactly is, how Swedes use it, and the history of lagom. After the overview, each chapter dives into details of lagom in everyday life, such as Food & Festivities, Work life, Finances, Beauty & Fashion, and much more.

From finances to keeping your household tidy, Lagom will teach you all that you need to know to try and keep this balance in your life. (And yes, fika is an important part of it!)

This book is absolutely lagom. It covers the topic perfectly, and throughout the book, there are sprinkles of beautiful images of the Swedish culture. Just lagom!

Because we all need more lagom in our life, I’m giving away one book to one of our lucky readers!
